What does it mean to dream about riding a bus (dream interpretation bus)
Dream interpretation bus. Riding a bus belongs to the category of transportation. Means of transport in dreams symbolize how you move forward (and sometimes backwards) in your journey of life. The type of transport you use can be of great symbolic significance. When you in the dream is on a bus, it may symbolize that you live a very conformal life, in other words, you “go with the flow”, “do what other people do” etc. – but you don’t go your own way. It would be a different story if you were the bus driver! Or the driver of your own car.
We are all on a journey of life – en route to somewhere. In dreams, we often choose the mode of transportation, we would choose in real life like bus, train, ferry, car, airplane, bike etc. A bus journey can in this way be an expression of a shorter (and maybe more down-to-earth) movement/journey than for example a plane trip. Means of transport are used to take us from A to B – just like we would move from one place in our life to another; from child to adult, from having no kids to all of a sudden becoming a parent, but of course also our general development or “growth”. Dreaming about being on a bus can therefore mean several things.

A bus as a symbol of public transportation – and therefore an attempt to fit in “with the crowd”. As mentioned – if you dream that you are on a bus, it may symbolize that you live your life in an attempt to fit in. You go with the flow and would rather not stand out too much.
If this is a recurring dream, then there is a good reason to take a closer look at it. Additionally, you can dream that you are late for the bus, and that you struggle to catch it. In other words, you are struggling persistently – and unsuccessfully – in order to adapt to the demands of the world.
Such a dram can once again be an invitation to stop and ask yourself what you want in your life. A crowded bus in a dream can therefore be an image of an extreme sense of competition in the course of life (or career), you have chosen.
A bus in a dream as transport bringing you from A to B. Your bus journey can also simply be a symbol of you moving from A to B in your life. In this way, you can dream that you catch a bus going in the wrong direction – that is to say, your life is going in the wrong direction (or that parts of you want to go in one direction and others want to go in another, and you experience inner conflict).

In my dream I was travelling in a bus and arrived at a place, which I am telling others travelling with me, is the place I was looking for. I tell them that I could recognize that place. Looks like I had been there before. There I see at a distance a water fall which has golden colored luminous water. I was just happy that I had arrived at that place.

I dreamed that I went to bus stop to help my 9 year old daughter to catch the bus, i got into the bus to put her bag in the bus, the bus started leaving her behind , I kept requesting to the bus conductor to stop the bus but he didn’t, my daughter kept running behind the bus, finally bus stop after same I got down from the bus and she got in the bus, and the bus left. I am worried what is the meaning of this dream.

I keep having a recurring dream about getting out of the driver’s seat of my schoolbus while it is going down the street and then going to sit with the kids in the back of the bus.
No one seems to mind in the dream, but this kind of turns into a nightmare when I finally come to realize there is no one driving!
I usually wake up racing down the aisle to grab the steering wheel.

I dreamt I was on top of a moving bus and there were people in the bus. I was the only one on top of the moving bus and I held tightly to it. But then after a while the bus stopped and I decided to see the people inside the bus and it turned out to be a suit case filled with sealed envelops. Brown and large envelop containing some documents obviously although it was all sealed up.

I dreamt that my husband and I was catching the bus, unfortunately, he got on the first bus without me coz I was a bit late and I was catching the next bus just right behind the first bus where my husband was. In my dream we are both going to the same destination and the buses both will end up in the same destination but different route. The bus I was I at first it passed me and some lady looks like a conductor did not want to let me in but the bus driver open the door coz the bus was held up by another coach bus right I front of it. I got on the bus proceeds to sit behind the driver and asked how much was the fare but the lady bus driver just started to tell me story while the lady was trying to sort out the other coach bus to move out of its way. Then I woke up.
Please can you tell me what’s this mean?

Bus ride was a recurring dream. I was always waiting for the bus the leave, faceless people or passengers were suppose to be familiars and they’re always holding dresses, gowns to wear… sometimes i was excited, other times perplexed. There were times the bus would be moving forward – either it will drop me off a very unknown place that i had to walk, sometimes the bus would miss the place i needed to get off then had to wait for a bus to take me back home, only to be overwhelmed by so many bus passing me by.

Hi Michael, that sits with me all that is said about the dream of a bus. In My dream I was on a bus going to a holy place? Then we met all this other traffic, the people on the bus were all talking how these other people were going the wrong way, but it turned out we ended up back where we started and I was so disappointed.

I am 37 years old and I often have the same dream every so often. I dream that I am at school, middle school, and I see my bus and I’m scared to get on it and I don’t get on it and end up missing the bus. Or, I’m at as school, high school, and im hiding behind the school and I’m looking at all the buses and I’m afraid I will get on the wrong bus and I don’t get on any bus and I’m watching them drive away. I don’t know why I keep having these dreams because in reality I never got on the wrong bus while I was at school and I wasn’t afraid of riding the bus. I dreamed I was riding a bus to an unknown destination. On it were a few other people, and in the first seat sat a 20-something attractive woman with brown hair and brown eyes. I spoke with her and found she had a sparkling personality, was intelligent, and sophisticated. I recognized her as my handicapped sister’s true spirit. In real life, my sister has become wheelchair bound and mostly bedridden. Her body and face had been twisted by chronic pain. Yet, in this dream, I recognized the attractive woman as my sister. When I awoke, I was positive that I had glimpsed the true spirit of my sister in the present (trapped in a mentally handicapped body), and in the future in heaven, where she would have a perfect body. I remembered the dream, but soon rarely thought about it. Then, last week my sister died when she succumbed to the failure of her body, While looking through family photos, I found a photo of my sister before her disability took a turn for the worse. There she was – the face of the woman on the bus, my sister. The photo clearly showed the same beautiful face, but younger than the woman in my dream. I understood that the dream predicted a change in my sister, one that could only be brought about by her passing.
The other element of the dream, was that I was on the bus with her. I wonder what that means? Am I next? I do think that since we were on the same bus, we were going to the same ultimate destination. But, since I was not sitting in front, but somewhere in the middle, my time is sometime later. I am simply sharing this dream, so need no interpretation.

Hai there,i had a dream were i was on a bus stuck somewhere on my way to south Africa,i was at the back seat then realized the bus had stopped for criminals..Outside the was people killing passengers,passengers were coming out of the bus one by one and getting there hands cut off,all i could do was think of how to escape but the was no option so i was waiting to be next in line.But luckily i woke up before i was cut off..

In my first dream was I rode with my older sister in a red pick up truck where the owner made it a commuting car or like a taxi,when we reach the possible destination,I told the driver to stop,but unfortunately he was deaf so we decided to stop in second destination where that time a two old ladies destination too and me and my sister assisted those two old ladies to their home..
Second dream was about a little boy I know who is riding a bike this time,but to my surprise I don’t wanna touch the bike..

I dreamed that I was driving a school bus dropping off students and I got lost find where the job was located then I stopped and call this woman I’m close to for directions then she told me my phone had a GPS on it. Then my boss called to see where I was it because it was getting late. Then I told him I was on my way.
Hi i jst woke up from a dream right now.In the dream the is this guy who was surpose to be driving this bus but now the boss or jst some big guy comes and say let him drive.(saying me) as i jumped on the drives seats and Started the bus,but before it moved this guy who was supose to be driving gave me a big bag it was more off white in color bt had black carring belts,he sad to me i transport that back to his house.this bus started Ok as it was iddling,I accelerated and it moved a very small distance and now it was only iddling refusing to Go even i accelerated hard,somebody inside the bus sad i must remember the first rule b4 i ride,Is to close the door and to make shor its really or tiet close,2 is to turn on the lights.then it will move and it stated moving again as i did that.but the road i was moving on was full of durt(plastics all over,papers ect..)jst like a beam was scarted on this road.as this bus moved people in side started coaching me.No don’t do that,Do this.they coaching and coaching until i did something like turning something On and i saw Water coming out from jst near the staringwheel,bt it was like a tap then It Ended..(I had a feeling of were this bus had to be going.i knew in my heart were the bus was going but this dream ended even b4 i reached there).
The bus part of my dream was calm and soothing. It was a luxury bus tour companies use. I was sitting with a friend as we talked and liked it the window. We were on a slightly winding mountain road overlooking beautiful trees with golden leaves at dawn -when the sky is brightening but the sun hasn’t broken the horizon.
My friend and I were talking about our love of living up here. “It’s so beautiful but one needs to leave a light on at home because can be so dark away from other people”.
Then I asked him about finding my life partner and how it feels so difficult. He told me that I’ll find him soon and asked why I keep questioning “if I’ll find him”?
I woke up with his voice still in my ears
So, my dream already started out and I was already in the bus. We’ve passed some people that were being disrespectful towards the bus driver and he was angered. We’ve also passed some good people I know of and he just ignored them. We rode to a stop on a traffic light and that’s when one of the people that I know walked up to the bus and knocked on the door. Bus driver tried to shooed him away, but he was holding something it was a baseball. It was sort of a gift to the bus driver. He accepted it and still went on to drive. We passed some strangers and that’s when the bus driver decided to throw out the ball. It broke one of the stranger car windows and that’s when they got enraged and storming at us. It’s weird how I know that they had guns. They didn’t even show the guns yet. Anyways, I told the bus driver to hurry and try to run as far as possible from them as he can. He was panicky, but he did. They were closing in on us and started to shoot at us. The next thing I know, I jumped out of the bus just before it crashed into another car and hoping that the strangers didn’t see me jump. I was very afraid and I just tried to hide from them. That’s when I woke up. I never had a dream like this before and looking back on it, there were no other passengers besides me and that driver when the shooting started, which was very weird. I seriously don’t know how I got this dream. I just decided to take a nap and I get a cool dream xD

I was in a bus and suddenly a child was about falling off so i grab the Baby and fall off from the bus, before standing up the driver left i started runing at a point thinking of what to do. Hi Michael,I had a dream in which I was in a nurse uniform(actually my dream career is to become a nurse one day)and working in a hospital…after we closed from work we walked from the hospital(with a friend I don’t recognize) to the bus station to take a bus home but no bus was available…then we went to stand at the roadside until we saw a bus moving to the direction of my destination, so we stopped the bus(a very big one)but my friend enter quickly and stand in the bus but I struggle before I could enter the bus when I finally did the drive gave me a sit beside him…then the bus started moving we were chatting and laughting(a passenger beside and the driver)
