What does it mean to dream about riding a bus (dream interpretation bus)
Dream interpretation bus. Riding a bus belongs to the category of transportation. Means of transport in dreams symbolize how you move forward (and sometimes backwards) in your journey of life. The type of transport you use can be of great symbolic significance. When you in the dream is on a bus, it may symbolize that you live a very conformal life, in other words, you “go with the flow”, “do what other people do” etc. – but you don’t go your own way. It would be a different story if you were the bus driver! Or the driver of your own car.
We are all on a journey of life – en route to somewhere. In dreams, we often choose the mode of transportation, we would choose in real life like bus, train, ferry, car, airplane, bike etc. A bus journey can in this way be an expression of a shorter (and maybe more down-to-earth) movement/journey than for example a plane trip. Means of transport are used to take us from A to B – just like we would move from one place in our life to another; from child to adult, from having no kids to all of a sudden becoming a parent, but of course also our general development or “growth”. Dreaming about being on a bus can therefore mean several things.

A bus as a symbol of public transportation – and therefore an attempt to fit in “with the crowd”. As mentioned – if you dream that you are on a bus, it may symbolize that you live your life in an attempt to fit in. You go with the flow and would rather not stand out too much.
If this is a recurring dream, then there is a good reason to take a closer look at it. Additionally, you can dream that you are late for the bus, and that you struggle to catch it. In other words, you are struggling persistently – and unsuccessfully – in order to adapt to the demands of the world.
Such a dram can once again be an invitation to stop and ask yourself what you want in your life. A crowded bus in a dream can therefore be an image of an extreme sense of competition in the course of life (or career), you have chosen.
A bus in a dream as transport bringing you from A to B. Your bus journey can also simply be a symbol of you moving from A to B in your life. In this way, you can dream that you catch a bus going in the wrong direction – that is to say, your life is going in the wrong direction (or that parts of you want to go in one direction and others want to go in another, and you experience inner conflict).

I had a dream about taking a bus after vehicle was stolen in an attempt to somehow catch up with someone that may have seen what happened. The bus route taken however was wrong, I knew this but stayed on the bus anyways. At the last stop I flirted with an old crush and then got robbed of money and witnessed my son slip down the edge of of cliff (he was not hurt). There’s more but that’s the gist.
Glad I saw this. In my culture a dream riding a bus means that you are going to die soon. Today I had a bus dream. I dreamt that I took my sister to boarding school in a bus and was supposed to go back on the same bus. However I delayed helping her pack and the bus left. I ran after it and told my sister to bring my shoes. She was reluctant to do so because she thought I would not catch the bus. I ran after the bus took a shortcut through a green field was able to catch up with the bus after several kms. Texted my sister that I had caught the bus and she was surprised. I had no shoes. Decided I would buy shoes in the next town. However the driver announced that we could not get to the main town where I wanted to go because of the imposed covid-19 curfew. When I woke up we had just arrived in the next town and I was checking on my phone about possible accommodation while wondering if a hotel could accept someone wearing no shoes to check in.
I had a dream about my friend was driving a bus with full of people I was doing another work in that bus, bit she asked me to take charge of driving and she left driving seat, I was driving the bus without knowing how to drive,while I was panicking, we reached the destination then she came and pulled brake lastly.

Good morning. I dreamt that my mummy was holding her new born baby then she left my siblings in my care. She was on a bus with my step dad and her baby but she promised to come back for my siblings (maybe me too) . In the dream, I was angry at her for giving birth despite her age(43+) my grandmother gave me the baby to see.
What could be the meaning?:
In my dream I was with a big group of friends and we were taking pictures, but I guess we were headed to school so we all walked on the bus and I tried sitting next to my friends. When I tried there was a bus monitor telling me I couldn’t sit with them. So I told him I’d rather get off than listen to him. So I called my mom, let her know on my next stop I was getting off and not going to school. As the next stop came, I turned around to see if anyone would get off with me and everyone had their head tucked down. I felt like the dream was a metaphor that I have a journey that I have to complete and I can’t let others tell me what my journey is even if it’s lonely.
Had a dream I was getting a bus to the other side of the country to pick up my car. It was a pleasant journey, felt almost like a film sequel (if that makes sense) revisiting places I had been before. The bus stopped for a break, and I realised it was already at a town near my destination.
I had a dream where 2 of my friends crashed a bus with no one inside because of the bus they gan go to jail .. and I was flying with Large polythene bags and I lifted that bus while flying .. 😅
I had a dream in which my husband and family were on a commercial bus and one of my cousins called me to warn me that the driver was going up hill and he would not make it. So it was too late to warn people and I saw the bus go downhill and flipped to one side, but saw no one injured.

Travelling is a recurrent theme for me. I’m constantly trying to get home whether it’s by taxi or bus but I’ve never made it home because the driver always tells me that buses dont run where I live. I once had a dream where I was sick on a bus, just weak, tired and nauseated, and a friend that I was in a serious conflict at the time was there with me. We were both feeling upset and tired and at one point I was like “can we just stop? Please?” And she just nodded and that was the end of my dream.
Last night, I had a dream that I was riding a bus home from a previous engagement that day. There were few people on the bus but they were familiar even though I didnt know any of them in real life. I had trouble getting home because the bus driver told me that she didnt know how to get to my house or which bus stop would let me home. To avoid going too far from the city where I knew my way around at least I asked her to drop me off at the nearest bus stop. At that bus stop I met more familiar people who I dont know in real life. They were funny and friendly, and we were joking around and playing, and I woke up.
Well I had a dream of ridding in three storey bus.. Well bus was well maintained and full of passengers. However the roads run through very dangerous high cliff which eventually made me feel afraid but I could mange to move on. After sometime we are in one of the check point. I could see police man with gun pointing us to move forward towards them. To my surprise when I look back I see my friends sitting on road with hands up and I am only man moving toward police man.. After that we are allow to move from there.. And see myself in beautiful full of fruits, plucking rip oranges and eating but I also see big rotten papaya on the trees which I touch and leave.
I was on a bus with a really irritating bus driver who would not drop me off between bus stops – he said he could only stop at the next village – so I said I’ll just go even to the furthest village and I won’t budge til we’re there !
I have a dream this morning I was inside the bus suddenly the bus stop at junction and everybody inside the bus came out and desperately looking for another bike to enter when I got one we negotiated price and started moving till when the bike man stop and requested for another money suddenly I woke up. Hey! I have had many dreams, 3 of which I remember, in which I was driving the bus. In first dream I was driving with family & relatives sitting in the bus during night. We went to some place which seemed like dystopic environment and had not much lightening. We stayed at some building there. Second dream in which father’s friends, cousins and some small babies I knew, sitting in the bus and I was driving in mountains. It felt difficult to drive. Third I was driving a school bus with some people I knew in my life who are not friends or close to me and some strangers also. In all dreams I was driving. What does that mean?
I had several dreams of buses, some reoccurring and others not. First it was like the bus left me and it overturned. Then I started having several dreams of bus leaving me on the station and others I saw myself refusing to jump on a bus. Sometimes I dream that am on the bus but not moving. Help, I dreamt driving a bus, I wasn’t sure of where I was going, I couldnt see through the windscreen my friend was seated next to be and he would direct . The bus got out of control .later the bus summer like it was overturning and my friend just helped be to fix it
Had very vivid dreams of being on the bus, and the interesting piece was I had to be in the second row. I was insistent on having one person in front. I was by myself in the sit and we went to incredible places like the beach and snowy mountains. I spoke with my sister on the bus and some other nice men, everyone was nice but it was all about them. There were strange thing happening like a narrow road, a steep hill, people skiing and falling off their skis. One person required help and others jumped in and then he was fine and the bus kept moving along. It was acknowledged but not really delt with. We ended up off the bus at the most beautiful and pristine restaurants in the snow glades. I tried to talk to people on the bus but they didn’t respond. The waiter was insistent I choose a different plate to hurry us as we were last minute kindly added in. I read the bus interpretation and it is spot on
