Dream interpretation of money/treasure.
Money represents real-world value – and in dreams it often represents psychological / mental energy, or nourishment. So finding a treasure or being in possession of a lot of money in your dreams, may be a symbol of you being in possession of something psychologically very valuable. But money in the real world is not always associated with something good, and dreams of money og treasures therefore can be seen from several angles. These are reviewed below.
Money / treasure in dreams as a picture of something psychologically valuable.
To dream that you suddenly find a lot of money or that you are in a secluded cave, or in a room in your house / apartment that you have never seen before, and find a great treasure – in this situation, money (treasure) is often a picture of something very valuable in yourself that you have not previously been aware of. It can be a talent, a competence you have (to write, paint, sing, count, analyze …. the list is endless!), which so far has not been fully exploited. When you dream that you saw this treasure, then it means that your subconscious wants you to do much more about this talent. Just like the Biblical parable in which the moral is that one should use his talents and not bury them. An image of this inner treasure can also be that you dream that you find a pearl or a diamond.

Money in a dream as something materialistic.
It is clear that the language of dreams can also be very direct and talk about how you relate to money / values in the real / awake world. Are you very materialistic in your thinking? Do you cluster to money, status symbols, etc. in your dreams? One could say that you, as it is now, need something outside of yourself to say that you are worth something. The message of the dream is then that you should try to find something in yourself that you can be happy about, that your self-esteem has to come from within and not from something outside yourself.
Shopping / spending money in dreams.
You can also dream that you’re spending money. For example you are in a shopping center and looking for something specific. This can be a picture of that you are frantically looking for the gratification of a (perhaps unconsciously / unacknowledged) specific need. Like anything else, you can also dream that you give counterfeit money to someone – as a picture of you might be fake / false in your communication / relation with certain others in the waking life.

I dreamed about me finding a treasure A HUGE chest in the sea and when I opened it it was full of coins big ones and strange thing there were books too that i read and it was talking about a mystery case the ones I really love and I remember saying that this chest will go to the museum and I’m not going to keep it

I dreamt i was walking with this lady i worked for talking business.. then a truck came up next to us asked if the party started.. then a group of guys walked up and started talking to us.. all this time i had my arm around her… So i got a little paranoid that her man was one of those guys.. decided to walk back to the house… Then looked down saw a gold necklace.. when i picked it up i looked back at the group with the thought it may be one of theirs… put it in my pocket…Decided to continue walking to the house and go into the bathroom to see if it was real… But omw i looked down at my watch which was only sentimental value.. and it was upside down… So i took it off put it back on and when i looked down at it the guts had fell out of the watch… So i turned around just as i got in the door and went looking for the guts to the watch… Then i woke up… What does this dream mean .
I just had the most vivid and weirdest dream ever. I dreamt I was caught in a major war between two major countries. I’m an American so I’m assuming USA was one of them. The German or maybe Russian came to kill all Americans and they did except for a couple hundreda of us that escaped with lots of gold precious gems and tons of old cash. What does this mean. I’m still shaking as I write this because I saw people getting executed as we narrowly escaped. I am not a materialistic person and my self esteem is right where it need to be. I am a clairvoyant, I often see things that manifest in the real be it in a dream or a vision. What does this really mean?
the one that is carrying luggage of dirty clothes is in some kind of problem and may need you help, but you are avoiding him/her instead of hepling him/her.
This dream has occurred numerous times, I dream of a constant fight with different people (which I have to kill to be able to move forward) and situations (sort of like obstacles) and then in the end we (my little brother and I) find some sort of treasure… but have lost people we value the most in our lives in the end… So I experience the feeling of loss in the dream, yet fulfilled in a way… I hope it makes sense.
I dreamt I was at an old place people go and visit now for historical purposes. There was an area filled with water, it wasn’t meant to be a pool but a graveyard but somehow it became filled with water. And we were allowed to go in and search for things. I happily spent time under water looking for things. I found a magnifying glass, some other jeweled items and would come out and gift them to me friends. I’d go back in and start searching for myself I noticed the graves at the bottom of the pool I also saw there were coins, jewelry. I kept thinking to myself that I better find real gold before I leave here today. Which I did. At the end of the day, i showed my friends what i had been doing all day but the tide took the water out of the pool where I was so it was just steps that led down to a massive graveyard.

My “dream” I feel is “not a dream!??? It’s not abstract or surreal or erratic..its repeated for months and months and I’m convinced a memory!!! I literally know the location underground and remember walking down through the tunnels to a large vault FULL of very old treasures!! Shields chalices,armour but much more valuable relics…feels very very old and NOT religious more Definate and important..I keep having the same dream but as I say more it a memory!! I’m a very intuitive person and educated professional and not prone to folly!! I really don’t think I’m wrong here..i am very very often accurate at predicting or feeling things or people or outcomes..just not sure where to go with this but feel have to pursue it!!
Wow – very interesting dream Martin! One interesting angle to that dream might be something along the lines of how you keep discovering (or have not yet made use of!) hidden treasures in yourself. I.e. sides of yourself, strengths that you have, but have not used very much (yet). Knowledge that you have – but maybe don’t use. But again – hard to know as the dream needs to be related to your waking life. Best – Michael

please, what does it mean to dream of trying to avoid known people in a dream because one is carrying luggage of dirty clothes and also shabbily dressed.
